You can find out in our price guide here.
We like to be as transparent as possible when it comes to our pricing, which is why we publish what we charge online.
It also hopefully saves suffering the mutual embarrassment of those phone calls that we occasionally receive hoping that we work for minimum wage, kudos or exposure 🥶 ...
Depending upon our workload, we aim to get the first pass editing done the next working day after the shoot, and then any further Photoshop high-end retouching within a day of you making your selections (depending upon the volume of selections).
So, ideally from shoot to the final images delivered to you, three working days.
Of course! We can have a good chat (a real-life coffee if local, or a Zoom or email thread) to discuss who you see as being your target market and work out your strategy of visuals that will be most appealing for use in your marketing.
Primarily we cover the North East of Scotland from our base in Forfar, and travel is included up to a 30-minute drive from there, charged at £30 per hour thereafter (billed in 15-minute segments). We can also work further afield by arrangement.
We will either come to your premises and set up a mobile studio or meet you at a pre-arranged outdoor location for headshots and personal branding shoots, and we have a home studio for product photography projects.
Any standard format that you like!
As well as jpg, png, and now more commonly webP files, we like to provide you with a set of high resolution TIFF files for your archives. These are of a higher quality and can be thought of as the negatives for you to keep safe. Every time that you crop, resize or carry out any kind of editing on a jpeg it loses quality, becoming blurrier with each save, which is why we recommend editing the TIFF if you need to at some point in the future, and then saving as a web suitable format.
We should hope so!
We try to keep our retouching to what you may look like if you had a professional make-up artist and hairdresser giving you the once-over before the session, rather than some of the unrealistic Photoshop fantasy pics that we have seen grace women's' magazines over the years.
As is standard with all creative works, copyright is retained by the creator, unless an assignment of copyright agreement has been negotiated.
You will have a licence in perpetuity to use your images wherever you like to promote your business, but can't resell the images (to a stock photography agency, for example), and we will not resell your images to others for stock use, but will only use them in the future for our own portfolio and promotional purposes.
